Benefit Ride For Zach Seitz!

 Hello everyone, as you all know, I love to write and tell stories whether it be my poems, short stories, sports, religious/spiritual, etc. But I also like to use my writing to help others who are in need and today is one such blog post.

I became friends with the good people of RTC Auctions who promote local auctions here in our little community. Every week when they come to Mattawana, me and my twin always enjoy going to see them and what they have to offer for each auction. 

Unfortunately, I had recently discovered that a member of their family had been in a terrible motorcycle accident. His name is Zach Seitz.

Even worse, Zach was in-between jobs when it happened and was not insured and the medical bills started to pile up on him and his family.

So today, I wanted to help promote a special event that will be happening on July 19th. There will be a Benefit ride for Zach and his family. Whether it be motorcycles, cars and or trucks, all are welcomed to join this ride which will begin and will end at the American Legion 298.

The cost per driver will be 20 dollars while each passengers will be 10 dollars. There will also be plenty of music being played during the event as well. It is opened to the public with a live band called Cinders and Fire with special guest Mike McCartney who will be playing with the band. There will be a 10 dollar cover charge and the music will begin at 5 p.m.

Any donations or support is greatly appreciated! Registrations will be at 10:30 a.m. and the ride begins at noon. For anymore information, please contact the American Legion 298!

 Although, it has become common knowledge, by many of us who live in Mifflin County. But former Huskies' great Trent Hidlay pulled off an incredible comeback and became the 2025 World Wrestling Champion in Croatia at 92 kg. After being down 10-2, Hidlay powered his way back to defeat Amanula Gadzhimagomedov 13-10 to win the World's Gold Medal. The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: HWF Summerfest!

 Ah yes, yesterday was one of my favorite moments of the summer season. And that is the annual Summerfest event held by HWF which is the local wrestling federation run by my long time friend Matt Silks. Although this is the fifth annual Summerfest under the HWF banner, this event has been since I first met Matt back in high school and has held a special place in hearts of many of us pro wrestling fans here in Central PA. It is crazy to think how far something like this has come, I mean I was a freshmen in high school when I first met Matt and the gang. The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: McVeytown Fire Company 18

 Sometimes the most adventurous days come when you do not expect them and today was certainly one of those days. Chad and I went outside to take care of recycling and Chad had suggested we go check out the brand new Fire House for the McVeytown Fire company.  His boss from Kountry Kitchen, Amanda Boozel, her husband Doug is the Assistant Chief of the McVeytown Fire Company and they invited us to come over and check out the new the building. Of course we decided to go and see it for ourselves. When we arrived, Doug was not there yet, but we were welcomed by Nate Moist and many other members of the fire company and Moist went and gave us a little tour around the building.
