The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: Bingo Night At McVeytown Fire Company!

 This past Saturday, Chadman and I decided to check out Bingo Night over at the McVeytown Fire Company building. Chad's friend and member of the Fire company, Doug Boozel had invited us over and so we went in and see how it was going.

And it was going quite well when we had arrived tot he building, it was pretty full of people, at least over a 100 people all looking to hit Bingo.

This was their first event hosting since the opening of the new Firehouse so I am sure there were plenty of nerves going into it. Can't say I blame though especially trying to raise funds to help keep the company building going and protect those from dangerous fires.

There were some raffle ideas being sold a the event one being a Kitchen Aid, another being a Ninja Air Fryer and lastly, a car trailer. There were some cash prizes as well as lottery tickets, purses and wine.

Of course, you can not have a Bingo night without some delicious food. There was some chicken, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, applesauce and most important, the dessert 😁.

Me and Chad were able to chit chat with Doug before he had to get back at it. We also got to meet up with another crew member in Caleb Alexander.

Overall, Chad and I had a great time checking out the event and I am so glad to see these guys finally get special events going to help raise funds for the Local fire department.

Hope and Pray they continued to find success and more importantly, staying safe against these fires. If you are able to, please reach out and support your local firehouses because these people go through a lot and most of them are volunteers.

The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: McVeytown Fire Company 18

 Sometimes the most adventurous days come when you do not expect them and today was certainly one of those days. Chad and I went outside to take care of recycling and Chad had suggested we go check out the brand new Fire House for the McVeytown Fire company.  His boss from Kountry Kitchen, Amanda Boozel, her husband Doug is the Assistant Chief of the McVeytown Fire Company and they invited us to come over and check out the new the building. Of course we decided to go and see it for ourselves. When we arrived, Doug was not there yet, but we were welcomed by Nate Moist and many other members of the fire company and Moist went and gave us a little tour around the building. 2009 Lewistown Panthers Baseball

 Well, with me trying to become more positive about myself, I have been looking back into the past and find ways to let go of some of the negative emotions attached to it. One such issue was going back to my time at Lewistown Area High School which as mentioned before was a huge struggle for me.  But again, trying to be more positive, I wanted to look back at that time and remember some of the good moments during that period. One of which was playing for the Lewistown Panthers baseball team. Heading into my senior year of high school, I wasn't in the best state of mind. Honestly, I really did not want to be there anymore, I was just so sick of life, never thought I was going to be anything. All I ever was going to be was a huge disappointment.
