The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: Agape Festival 2026!
This past weekend, myself along with my twin brother Chad decided to go down and check out the third annual Agape Festival over at the Agape Farm in Shirleysburg. For those who may not know, the Agape Festival is a four day event that began on Thursday June 25 and ended on Sunday June 28.
The Agape Festival is looking to build on what was once Creation and help those build strong relationships with Jesus Christ as well as building strong fellowship with one another.
Much like the previous two years, Agape Fest brought in a ton of local Christian artists as well as speakers to help spread the word of God and provide plenty of entertainment.
There were plenty of fun events happening as well like wagon rides, barrel train rides, a cornhole tournament, volleyball, gaga ball, hiking and much more.
Chad and I decided to go down during the Friday event due to our good buddy Hayden Snook was going to be performing. As we arrived, we were greeted by some friendly people who helped us find our parking spot for the evening.
We decided to go get ourselves some food and it did not take us very long to go and find us some. There was a nice little food court just calling our names lol. I myself got me some egg and cheese sandwich while Chadman got himself some chicken tenders. Both of which were delicious!
We then wanted to pick some dessert so we got ourselves some Italian ice. Both of us got the root beer flavor.
Next we took a little hike around the campground as well as moving around the woods. Just getting to be one with God and nature was quite relaxing.
Eventually the humidity got to us so we decided to go get some water where we ended up hanging with some people at the medical tent who kindly provided us with some fresh water. We also had a great conversation and I noticed that one of them was reading a Tom Clancy book. Shoutout to the Medical tent crew!
Chad and I also hung around the long barn where many vendors were at. All trying to do there part in helping those in need. Best wishes to them!
It was there we met a nice young man named Christian who was a member of the band called Seek and Surrender. These guys are an up and coming band trying to use their music to bring authenticity to Christian music. Check out Seek and Surrender on their instagram page. Shout out to Christian! Best of luck to you and your band!
Lastly, we got to meet up with our buddy and local Christian musician Hayden who was getting ready to play. It has been a little while since I had seen him, he himself has been quite busy. Great dude! Congrats on your engagement! Keep up the great work!
It was a fun day at the Agape Festival for me and Chad. Hopefully it will continue to grow and inspire future generations and bring them closer to Christ.
Thank you Agape Fest!
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody!🙏🙏🙏
