The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: Trying Something New! Donating My Hair!

You know with it being a new year, we all have those new year's resolutions that are basically goals we set up to accomplish during the bring new year. Most times, we unfortunately do not reach those goals due to one thing or another. But for me, I really wanted to be able to achieve this becoming more positive in my life.

Which has become more of a mission for me for the year 2026 than it has been in previous years. It is no secret that I struggle with mental health like depression for basically my whole life, but now more than ever, I wanted to find ways to be more positive and I set a couple of goals that I am hoping to complete.

And I managed to complete one of those set goals for 2026 and that was to donor my hair for Wigs for Kids.

The idea started a while back when I first decided to let my hair grow out. To be perfectly honest with you guys, I didn't really think it would grow like it did. If you seen how my dad is, you would totally understand, basically, all the men on my father's side are balding, so to see it grow was a bit of a shock for me.

But the longer it grew, made me begin to think about donating it. As mentioned earlier, I wanted to be more positive and maybe inspire some more positive energy into the world.

Honestly, I didn't really know where to look, being from a small town in PA, but thankfully, my parents had told me about this place near by and eventually got a hold of the lovely ladies at a place called Michelle's and set up a date to cut my hair.

Me and Chad arrived at Michelle's where we got to meet the lady who was going to cut my hair and her name was Candy.

Then, the moment of truth had arrived and one by one, Candy wrapped my hair in four different pony tails which Chad had a blasted making jokes on me lol. Michelle then came into the shop and told me that they could deliver them to Wigs for Kids.

It really feels good to be able to do something like this. Although I struggle mentally on a regular basis, I still love to do good and doing this really brought a smile on my face. I just wanted to prove to everyone especially myself, that no matter how dark things may seem to be, there is always a way to find the light.

With that being said, I personally want to say thank you to both Candy and Michelle for helping me put all of this together, my family for their support and God for inspiring me. I pray to all of you out there reading this, that it will inspire you to create a positive outlook in this dark world. No matter how little it may seem, there is always beauty in bringing light towards the darkness.

And to all of you who have suffered because of cancer, my thoughts and prayers to every single one of you. Just know that you are loved and that this horrible disease can never take away the beauty that is buried deep inside of you.

I love you all! Here is to being more positive!

Until Next Time!

God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
