The Undisputed Era (Pro Wrestling Faction)

 One of my personal favorite pro wrestling factions in recent memory. The Undisputed Era brought back a lot of joy for me as a fan and was one of best things to watch during their amazing run in NXT in my humble opinion.

In 2017, the group was originally a trio with such great talent like Adam Cole BAY-BAY! Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish before eventually being joined by Roderick Strong.

To say these guys carried the black and gold brand is an incredible understatement and honestly, I was so proud of them. You see, one of the reasons as to why I loved the Undisputed Era was simply because I have been a fan of these guys year prior to them coming to the WWE. 

I first saw these guys in a little wrestling promotion called Ring of Honor and I had been fans of theirs ever since. Adam Cole being the leader of the Kingdom was a joy to watch while Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish aka Red Dragon was such an amazing tag team and Roderick Strong in my humble opinion is a very underrated wrestler and could have great matches with anyone.

So to see these guys make to a bigger promotion really put a smile on my face. Another reason was how I loved their style of wrestling. It felt like a mixture of pro wrestling and MMA, it just felt like a legitimate contest.

The Undisputed Era as of right now, is the only faction to hold every single Male championship within NXT which is an incredible feat to say the least.

They were also a major factor in the return of the War Games match as well as winning numerous awards and competing in such great rivalries like Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, etc.

And you can tell that these guys had known one another for many years because the chemistry was undeniable and it certainly showed throughout their run in NXT.

One of my favorite pro wrestling themes as well, a mixture of hip-hop and rock music which was basically my childhood right there in terms of music I'd listen to throughout my youth. Kind of reminded me of playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games too for some reason. But either way, I loved it.

Sadly, all things must come to an end and the Undisputed Era eventually left WWE altogether which sucked honestly, but I understand.

I hope and pray nothing but the best for Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish and thank them for making great memories and for Shocking the System.

The 2005 Lewistown Panthers Football Team!

 I recently completed reading my story for Hometown Sports Magazine about the 2005 Lewistown Panthers football team who finally ended a thirty years of losing seasons. In this blog, I wanted to talk about why I wanted to write about this team and how I feel the lessons that were learned about them throughout the year can still be used today.  One of the biggest reasons as to why I wanted to write about this team was because of how much of team these guys were both on and off the field. These guys have played the game of football together for a number of years and it clearly showed. Plus being a youngster, I really didn't know the history of Lewistown Panthers football. Congrats To Trent Hidlay! (World Champion)

 Although, it has become common knowledge, by many of us who live in Mifflin County. But former Huskies' great Trent Hidlay pulled off an incredible comeback and became the 2025 World Wrestling Champion in Croatia at 92 kg. After being down 10-2, Hidlay powered his way back to defeat Amanula Gadzhimagomedov 13-10 to win the World's Gold Medal. This is such an inspirational story that needs to be told because stuff like this does not happen very often, especially in a small community like Mifflin County.  To me, the story of Trent is all about never giving up and continuing to push forward as well as hard work and dedication.
