The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: HWF Heritage Harvest Show! Getting To Meet Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows!

Well, this past weekend was quite an exciting time for me and twin brother Chad as we once again set sail and went over to the Heritage Fire Company in Lewistown, Pa to visit our friends from the HWF as they hosted their Heritage Harvest show Saturday evening.

Tonight was especially exciting because this show was going to feature one of the greatest tag teams in pro wrestling today, the Machine Gun Karl Anderson and the Big LG Doc Gallows, better known as the Good Brothers.

Man, have I been waiting for this moment for sometime now, when my buddy Matt Silks told me that the Good Brothers were going to booked on the show a few months back, I had this day circled in my mind and just couldn't wait to cover this event for Hometown Sports.

I must admit though, I was extremely nervous to meet both Anderson and Gallows. I was a fan of both of them before Bullet Club even happened in the crazy world of professional wrestling. I remember seeing Karl Anderson when he was a solo act in New Japan Pro Wrestling before becoming a great tag team with Giant Bernard (A-Train in WWE). I loved the work the Machine Gun put in during his days in New Japan, but I also loved his story about how he struggled during his training before making it. Really inspired me!

The first time I remember seeing Gallows was when he was the Freakin Deacon before moving on as the Imposter Kane before becoming Festus and then becoming a member of the Straight Edge Society along with CM Punk as well as Aces and Eights in TNA.

But when these two became a tag team in New Japan, it was truly incredible to watch. It honestly felt like these two have been tagging for years.

Fast forwarding to Saturday night, Chad and I arrived at the Heritage Fire Company after a visit to our Aunt Vic and Uncle Butch's house (Shout Out!). We go through the doors and as we walk into the building, we got to see a lot of familiar faces like Matt, Trista, Rodney, Danielle, Jimmy, Ember, etc. But I also got to see Rob, his wife Kathy and his daughter Hailee as well as Jamal who I hadn't seen in a while. But then Gallows and Anderson came back after finishing up a meet and greet with the fans and I immediately froze up.

I was so nervous to meet them, I wanted to stay professional and didn't want to bug them. Finally, I worked up the courage to introduce myself to them and let me tell you guys, there is a very good reason why they are called the Good Brothers. Gallows and Anderson could have been more amazing people to talk to. These guys have traveled all over the world, but they are just humble, hard working guys who just want to put on a great show.

And put on a great show they did! Watching the match they had with Matt and Mosh was incredible! We were all just excited to watch backstage and hearing the crowd go nuts the whole time really was a sight to see.

Anderson ans Gallows were so helpful to me with my article I was putting together for the magazine and I really hope and pray that you guys enjoy reading it. Thank you so much to you both!

I really had a fun time at HWF and if you wish to see more you can check them out on their YouTube Channel.

You can also catch Anderson and Gallows on the Talking Shop podcast on YouTube as well.

Thank you so much Good Brothers and I hope and pray nothing but the best for you and your families!

Until Next Time!

God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
