Kurt Angle
With in getting closer to the Fourth of July, I decided to talk about one of my personal favorite pro wrestlers of all time! Heck! You can make the argument that Kurt Angle is the wrestler period!
What I love the most about Kurt Angle was how believable he was in the ring. He was also so intense, like you know that this was going to be a big time match when the bell rang.
But the more I got to know about him and learn his story, the more I became a fan of his. I mean, learning about what he has been through in his life to where he is now is truly remarkable.
Angle won the 1996 Olympics with a broken neck! Which I do not think that would even be allowed in today's world. The guy then went on a run in WWE that not many people have pulled off.
By the time he got to the WWE, Angle was already going up against the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels. You also can't go wrong with his matches with Eddie Guerrero either.
I also really enjoyed his time in TNA as well, his matches with AJ Styles never seem to disappoint. I remember the first time watching those two guys wrestle, my jaw never left the floor. I was in complete awe of these two incredible talents and what they were doing in the ring.
Also, another match that I highly recommend you go watch if you are able to find it on Youtube, is his match in Japan with another one of my personal favorite wrestlers, Yuji Nagata. EPIC!!!!
As mentioned before, Angle has certainly had his fair share of struggles and I recommend that you see his documentary on Peacock.
He now hosts a podcast called The Kurt Angle Show and I really enjoy listening to it.
God Bless you Kurt! Thank you so much for being an inspiration to me and many others. And I pray for nothing but the best for you and family.
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
