All That (Comedy Show)
One of things that has made me proud to be a 90s kid was the sketch comedy show called All That which originally aired on Nickelodeon as a TV special sneak peak in 1994 before officially making its debut in 1995.
The original series went from 1995 to 2005 before being showdown but years later, an attempt at a revival was made to bring All That back to the masses, but sadly, was once again canceled and has yet to make another comeback.
This show featured some amazing talent throughout its run, people like Josh Server, Kenan Thomspson, Lori Beth Denberg, Kel Mitchell, Amanda Bynes, Jamie Lynn Spears, Gabriel Iglesias, Alisa Reyes, Danny Tamberelli and many more.
In fact, one of the things that really made me enjoy about the show, was with how All That became a place to where it helped create several spin-off shows. I dare say that this show really contributed to the growth of Nickelodeon as a whole. The Amanda Show, Kenan & Kel and The Nick Cannon Show all of which then send out spin-offs of their own.
From the opening theme song which was created by TLC, me and my twin along with several kids growing up in the 90s got us jumping out of our seats because we all knew that it was going to be fun and exciting.
Which is a huge reason as to why I loved the show so much, because there were kids just like me going out there and having a great time and making people laugh. You had great sketches like Vital Information, Repair Mannnn, The Loud Librarian, Good Burger, Ask Ashley, Sugar and Coffee, Miss Piddlin, Know your Stars, Everyday French by Pierre Escargot.
Personally, I really loved Detective Dan, Jimmy Bond, Coach Kreeton, Randy Quench Volunteer Fireman.
Just the other week, my twin brother and I were watching the 10th Anniversary show of All That and man did we ever have a great time watching it. I mean getting to see everyone who had been a part of this amazing show coming together. But what I had found interesting was when we finished watching the show, we looked at each other and we realized that the show was canceled not long after that which I often wonder why it was canceled in the first place.
I would really love to see this show come back again because I really believe that it could help the next generation with being creative and more importantly, make a difference in people's lives.
God Bless to all you amazing people who worked on the show and thank you for all of the memories.
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
