Power Rangers: The Movie (1995 Film)

You want to talk about leaving an impact on an entire generation, at least that is just my humble opinion which was the Power Rangers. Holy crap did I ever loved that show, so when me and my twin brother Chad found out that there was going to be a movie, you bet that we were going to see it.

June 30th, 1995, officially thirty years ago was the debut of this classic. God only knows how often we would annoy our parents to let us watch this movie. Forget me mother and father lol. From the time when it hit the theaters, to the multiple times we would rent it out of our local video store, this movie continues to have an impact on my life.

The Power Rangers Movie was AWESOME! I mean this was the basically the biggest movie of the 90s in my eyes, especially being a five year old at the time.

This film was released in-between seasons two and three although season three had a completely different setting than the movie.

The plot of the film follows the Rangers as they must stop a being known as Ivan Ooze who ruled the Earth over 6000 years ago before being locked in a hyper-locked chamber by Zordon and a group of young warriors. Unfortunately, the chamber was accidentally discovered by a construction crew and they must return it before it releases him. Sadly, Ivan escapes and takes away the Rangers' powers 🤯 and the Rangers must go to a distance to receive the Great Power and stop Ooze's plan of world domination.

Looking back on this film, it still holds up in my humble opinion. The fight scenes were so much fun to watch and getting to see the cast again brought back so many more memories.

Of course, one of my favorite things about the movie was the soundtrack which was truly amazing. It basically introduced me to one my personal favorite bands ever in the form of the Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as Buckethead, Devo, Dan Hartman, Snap!, Graeme Revell, etc. The Power Rangers theme was incredible.

Here is the Cast:

This is one of those moments where I can honestly say, that I truly miss this time of my life. I am forever grateful for this movie man, it really brought out a lot of imagination for me and my brothers. It was a time of innocents and honestly, I wish there were movies like this nowadays. You know, movies that are filled with inspiration and hope and friendship. Maybe one day, we can all share those special moments together again soon. That's what made Power Rangers so special to me and I can not thank the cast and crew enough for making this incredible film that still touches my heart to this very day.

Happy 30th Power Rangers Movie!

Until Next Time!

God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
