Father's Day Experience: Interview With Mark Bittle
Hey everyone! I am back with another interview where Fathers share their personal experiences of being a Father as we march closer to Father's Day. This time, I got to talk with Mark Bittle who is a unique situation of being a stepfather. Hope you all enjoy!
JY: Was being a dad something you always wanted to be?
MB: Yes! It was something I always wanted to be.
JY: What was it like being told you are becoming a father?
MB: Since I'm a step dad, I knew that I would become that as soon as I got married. I was excited and nervous all at the same time.
JY: What was it like seeing your child for the first time?
MB: When me and my wife dated, I got a chance to meet them and learn about them. It was a blessing that warmed my heart.
JY: What do you like most about being a dad?
MB: Being a dad is absolutely wonderful. It's all a learning experience. They learned from me and I learned from them. They've made me a better man.
JY: What advice would you give someone who is becoming a dad or looking to become one?
MB: Have patience. Always be there to listen, and always know your kids are always watching. They pick up stuff, be it words, actions, or thoughts. You are a big part of their development. Always provide, simply working to give your child a life you did not have, to giving a safe place for them to be them. Life is not perfect, but your kids will make it that way. Be their guardian in a world that is not always perfect.
That was my interview with Mark Bittle. I would like to thank him for taking the time to answer my questions and I pray nothing but the best for him and his family.
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
