Two Year Celebration!

Wow! I can't believe that it has been two years now since I decided to launch my blog. Honestly, it really feels like only yesterday that I decided to just go with faith and just start writing about stuff that I enjoy and really open up to not only friends and family members but to people from around the world.

Which I never thought would be possible, I mean, I soon discovered that people from outside the US like Germany, Ireland, Singapore, and so forth have been witnessing and reading my blog. It still is mind boggling how that is possible with someone like me.

There have been so many things that I never thought I would even open up to and I am very surprised with some of the responses that I have gotten. Stuff like my constant struggle with mental health and self-harming.

But also stuff like self-reflection, looking back on things like the death of my Nan and Pap, making the baseball team my senior year of high school and also looking back on being grateful with my parents who are still trying their best to help me and my twin brother Chad deal with our scoliosis and cerebral palsy, despite not really knowing what to do, but nonetheless, they are still there.

I really hope to keep building on that and really hope that you all are enjoying what I write about. Also, I really hope and pray that people will understand me more as I continue to open and maybe one day, this will all lead to something bigger.

But more importantly, I pray that this will also help others who go through similar situations as me to know that we can get through our tough times in life. And I pray that we all can find our happiness.

Looking back on year two of my blog, there are some things that I still need to work. For starters, I am still struggling with the hundreds of different thoughts racing around in my head. My self confidence has continued to be a tough battle for more than one reason. However, I felt as though I have been handling it a little better this year than I have the first year of blog.

But there is much more room for improvement. Mainly with me overthinking things and worrying about what people think of me when I put up a blog post. Or when I write something but no one says anything which makes me extremely nervous and anxious. I need to stop doing that.

Now, one of the positive things that I have been doing with my blog besides trying to be more open about myself. I also been having fun using my blog to help others, for example, my recent interviews about being a mother for Mother's Day. I really would love to do more interview stuff that also involves helping others tell their stories too whether it be a personal thing, business stuff or just something fun.

With that being said, I just want to say thank you all so much for encouraging me and supporting me with my writing. I have faith that 2025 is going to be a big year! Which honestly, I can't believe that I just said that!

Thank you again for two years of the Joshua Yoder Blog!

Until Next Time!

God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
