The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: Country Memories Day!

Yesterday, my twin brother Chad and I headed down to McVeytown to do chill out at one of our favorite events. The Country Memories Day event, this has been something we have been doing since we were little kids. Personally I would love to show my little nephew Lukey around it someday.

Of course, the weather wasn't exactly the best, but still, we had ourselves a good time. As we arrived into town we got to see plenty of vendors out there and we got to see plenty of our friends.

Though we didn't get some see all of them, we did manage to check out some some awesome cars. Honestly this has been one of our favorite stuff to go see since we were little, me and Chad have always admired the craftmanship of these vehicles.

We also got to meet a vendor called Peaceful Mind, Veteran Adventure, some pretty cool guys who are looking to help out other veterans. Thank you all who served! 🫡 In fact, I am thinking about making a blog post about them.

Our next big stop was the Mason Lodge here in town. Chad and I were given a little tour of the building, the people were very friendly and I got to learn a lot about them.

Next on the list we got to go to the museum at the Rothrock Library. I am a bit of a history buff, so I really enjoyed looking at old photos, books, even old school uniform from way back in the early days of Mifflin County. Heck some of this stuff is older than my parents and they're pretty old lol 😂. Love you mom and dad.

Also got to say hello to the many members of the McVeytown Eagles football program at the event and were raising funds for the upcoming season.

On a more personal note, me and Chad got to see Nick Dickson and his lovely wife Paula. It was really cool to see Nick out and about, especially knowing what he is going through. We got to chat for a little bit and I really hope and pray for him to have a speedy recovery. Thoughts and Prayers to you and your family Nick! 🙏🙏🙏

Overall, me and twin had a great time. Wish stuff like this happens more often, but I am grateful for when they do happen.

Until Next Time!

God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
