Mother's Day Experience: Interview With Angela Mariee
Hello again everybody! I am back with another interview with another mother as we grow closer to Mother's Day. This time it is Angela Mariee!
JY: Was being mom something that you have always wanted to do?
AM: Being a mom was definitely something I feel like I've always wanted to do. Ever since I was little I've always thought about getting married and having lots of kids.
JY: What was going through your head when you were told that you were becoming a mother?
AM: I was beyond excited but scared. Sadly, my first pregnancy ended in a loss. But for the first healthy one, I was very anxious but so ready.
JY: Were there any concerns at first?
AM: Yes! At first I was concerned about my babies health. Of course mine kept going downhill, everything was a mess. Personally I felt like I wasn't going to be a good mom. I doubted myself a lot.
JY: What was like seeing your child for the first time?
AM: That is a feeling you can't really describe. There's not enough words in the dictionary. The pure love and euphoria you feel throughout your body is overwhelming but nice at the same time. It's nothing and no one in the world exists. All you want is to love and cuddle and hold that baby.
JY: Any advice to any young mothers or someone who is wanting to become a mother?
AM: Don't lose yourself. It's okay to not be okay. It's okay to have guilt, it's okay to want something for yourself and it is MORE than okay to reach out for help. You're not alone and you have an army behind you, regardless if you know that army or not. Take a deep breathe, one step at a time and one day by day. You're a/going to be a good mom.
That was my interview with Angela Mariee. I personally would like to thank her for taking the time to answer my questions and I pray for her and her family to find continued happiness.
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
