The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: Clifton 5 Theater/A Working Man Film Review!
Holy Crap! Chad and myself just returned home from seeing our good friends from Clifton 5 theater in Huntingdon and we got to watch the movie A Working Man that stars one of my personal favorite action stars Jason Statham.
I have been a fan of Statham since I first saw him in the Transporter movie so I was certainly excited to see this movie and I was not disappointed.
A Working Man is based off a book that was written by Chuck Dixon and it was called Levon's Trade which was written back in 2014.
Statham plays Levon Cade, a single father and a former Royal Marine Commando who is now works as a leader of a construction team. He is close to the Garcia family who runs the company.
As Cade struggles to get adjusted to normal life, things get even tougher as Jenny, the daughter of Garcia family gets kidnapped by members of the Russian Mafia who are involved in human trafficking and they call upon Levon to rescue their daughter and bring home.
This movie RULES! Right from the opening sequence, myself and Chad were quickly hooked. As always, I loved the action scenes of a Statham movie and this one was no different. The acting from whole cast was quite entertaining, I especially like the performance from Andrej Kaminsky who played one of the evil Russian mobsters named Symon Kharchenko.
But what I enjoyed about this movie the most was how simple and straight to the point it was. It is such a relief nowadays as a lot of movies that have been coming out in recently memory have all these different plots and subplots that I often get confused as to what exactly is going on. This movie avoided that big time. In fact, there was only two things going on in the movie, one of which was the main one where Levon was looking to find Jenny, but the only other plot going on in this film was Levon trying to help care for his own daughter after losing his wife.
Overall, I personally won't mind seeing this movie again in theaters which that hasn't happened in a very long time. I loved this movie a lot and I highly recommend it to all of you to go out and see it. I give a 9 out of 10.
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
