13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo

 Being a huge fan of Scooby Doo, I can honestly say that I have seen a ton of different series that featured the lovable dog and the rest of the Mystery Inc. One such series I really loved watching the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo which aired all the back in 1985 on ABC and lasted for a season.

The story begins with the gang Daphne, Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy are on a trip to Hawaii but are thrown off course and ended up landing in the Himalayas. Once there, the group meets a pair of ghosts named Weerd and Bogel who trick Shaggy and Scooby into opening the Chest of Demons which contain 13 of the scariest monsters that have ever walked on Earth.

The only way that these demons can return to the chest is if the people who let them out have to be the ones who put them back. So the gang begins their search all around the world to stop the monsters from destroying the planet.

Joining Scooby and Shaggy are Daphne, Scrappy and a young boy name Flim Flam. Also assisting the gang is Flim Flam's friend Vincent Van Ghoul played the great Vincent Price, a warlock who often employs magic and witchcraft to help them on their journey.

I thought the show was very underrated in my humble opinion. In fact during its original run, the gang only managed to find 11 of the 13 ghosts/demons that were released. For the series was replaced with A Pup Named Scooby Doo. Which was a great series in its own right.

The story wasn't completed until 34 years later with a movie called Scooby Doo and the Curse of the 13th Ghost which gave it a symbolic ending. Now, I have yet to see it, but I plan on watching it soon.

Well tonight was a pretty special night down here in McVeytown as Chad and I along with many other people who live here in McVeytown all came together to celebrate a special accomplishment. And that was how all three of the McVeytown Eagles teams made it to the CKYFL championship games. Winning in both the Peewee and Midget divisions and placing second in the Mighty Mights. Stuff like this doesn't happen often in such a small town where I live so to see these kids have the time of their lives during the parade was certainly a sight to see. One of the things I love about covering sports is when I see kids learn, work hard and turn it into success. What's going on? Being honest with ourselves!

 I don't like to cause any problems with anybody but there have been a lot of things that I been wanting to get off my chest for a very long time now. And that is in my humble opinion people don't seem to want to be honest about really anything anymore. Now, I could be just a little paranoid, maybe my anxiety is getting the best of me or whatever. But as time has past I have been getting a weird feeling all over me. You see, I just feel as though people no one is really being honest with each other, themselves or to God anymore. Nick Dickson

 Recently, I had found out that a family friend of ours named Nick Dickson had a stroke and people have been doing what they can to support him and his family. Nick is a local mechanic who has been serving this community for many, many years and has always been a generous, hard worker and honorable person at the Dickson's Garage along with his father Ken. He and his father are also local racing legends around here in Mifflin County having raced for a couple generations now. Nick and his family have always been honest with me and my family and has helped take care of our vehicles for many years. They are amazing,  hardworking people who now need our help. And according to the go fund me page that was set up by Andrea Baker and Valeri Thornburgh. The doctors had told his family that it will take months at minimum for him to be able to recover and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
