The Addams Family

 They're creepy and they're kooky. Mysterious and Spooky. They're all together ooky. The Addams Family!

I love that song! It always makes me snap my fingers everytime that it is played lol. With it being the Halloween season here in the month of October, I thought I would talk about the Addams Family.

The Addams Family was created by Charles Addams back in 1938. It basically follows the Addams Family who are an old money clan who are into the lets just say the unusual. Despite the simple fact that they clearly do not realize how much it makes other people feel uncomfortable.

The series made its debut as a Comic Strip in The New Yorker which was a magazine that is still around today from 1938 till Charles' death in 1988.

The first time I got to see the Addams Family was the television series that first aired in 1964 and lasted until 1966 with a total of 64 episodes.

Another time I saw the Addams Family were the two movies that came out in the early 90s. In fact, they have also starred in some animated series, been in some video games and also made special guest appearances in shows like The New Scooby Doo Movies.

The Addams Family are: Father-Gomez Addams, Mother-Morticia Addams, Daughter-Wednesday Addams, Son- Pugsley Addams, Uncle Fester, Grandmama, Butler-Lurch, Cousin Itt, and of course the disembodied hand called Thing.

The dark humor and the craziness of the Addams Family has always been entertaining to me. It is just one of those things where it can be so utterly ridiculous yet so awesome at the same time.

In a weird way, I kind of feel this group of gothic characters seem very reliable to me. Being into some of the goth stuff myself, but seeing a whole family like this is pretty awesome. Plus it was simply different and still cool to see a family come together.

Obviously I have never got to meet the creator Charles Addams (RIP). But from what I read about him, he always seemed to be a great guy despite his dark sense of humor.

What's going on? Being honest with ourselves!

 I don't like to cause any problems with anybody but there have been a lot of things that I been wanting to get off my chest for a very long time now. And that is in my humble opinion people don't seem to want to be honest about really anything anymore. Now, I could be just a little paranoid, maybe my anxiety is getting the best of me or whatever. Is It Worth It To Keep Fighting?

 You know the thing I hate the most about dealing with depression and just mental health in general is the simple fact that I know that there are so many people in this world you is dealing with struggles in their lives. And I keep telling myself to stay humble and be grateful for everything I have in this world and that things can always be worse, but, I ultimately just end up hating myself.
