The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: Trimble The McVeytown Goose!
Despite all of the rain, my twin brother Chad and I headed our way down to McVeytown and witness the debut of the McVeytown Goose at the Rothrock library.
This special event was thanks to the Community Partnerships Wild Geese Flock. Together, public art project which recognizes our region's Goose Day traditions.
The unveiling of the McVeytown Goose was pretty cool to see and we got to hangout with some of our friends at the Rothrock library. Seeing the finishing touches of the Goose which was created by artist Carley Mattern of Ryde was amazing. Shout Out to Carley, the goose looks awesome!
In fact, the goose was given the name Trimble. For those who do not know, the name was inspired by Dr. Joseph T. Rothrock who is from McVeytown and was known as the Father of Forestry. The T which is the first of his middle, Trimble and that is why the goose is named that as a tribute to him.
Presenting Trimble the McVeytown Goose was Anne Fisher-Henson who also helped with sponsoring for the goose. It was really cool to see what she was doing, even cooler was the fact that ABC 27 was there to showcase the festivities. Congrats to you Anne!
Also wanted to give a big shoutout to all of the sponsors for the goose:

Also a big thanks to Rothrock library's own Deb Himes and McVeytown Museum's Allen Clark as well as the members of the McVeytown Borough counsel for allowing me to write this for my blog.
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
