Thank You Foxpro Baseball And The CCBL For Another Fun Year Of Baseball!
Well, it is official, the Foxpro Predators have been eliminated from the CCBL playoffs which means I sadly my time with Foxpro baseball is over 😔. But as always, it was such a great time!
WOW! It is crazy with how many years it has been since I first started hanging out with the guys of Foxpro Baseball.
The team is run by Evan Pupo who when I first met him, we immediately got along. Honestly, we share a great love for baseball, but I really loved his goal with the Foxpro baseball team. He wanted to create opportunities for the younger baseball players to have a place to go during the summer and help them get some extra at-bats. Plus, help support our little community.
To be perfectly honest with all of you, I really didn't know what to expect when it came to the CCBL. But I quickly learned how competitive the league was, and I LOVED IT! Many of the athletes that were competing in the league either had or are currently playing at the collegiate level.
I got to meet some incredible people along with Evan, I met Hayden Snook who is doing a great job with his career as a Christian Musician, former Mifflin County player, Isaiah Kearns, Evan's younger brother Jaxson Pupo, Josh Rosefsky, Ethan and Landen Eichhorn, Kalen Gearhart, Rylan Bailey. I even got to hangout with some of the new players, like Elliot Yetter, Jayden Smith, Aidan Arnold, Calin McKnight, Madden Weaver, among many others.
I also to meet players from the other teams like the Spike Island Pirates, Blanchard Bees, Howard Hawks, Spring Creek Shockers and so forth. Great people! Wish I could do more for the league because it really is a fun league to cover, but sadly I am not really able to make it to the Centre County area which sucks, but every little bit helps and I am thankful for the other teams for helping me with rosters and stuff.
I am extremely grateful to Evan, his family and to the other members of the Foxpro baseball team for allowing me to come and be a part of their group and help them with being up not only a league, but the community as well.
I hope and pray that Evan and the team continue to find success and together build something that the community can be proud.
I encourage any baseball player who wishes to play a little extra baseball and see how you fare against some great competition, then please reach out to Evan Pupo for next year. Also to anyone in the Centre County area who wishes to play, reach out to one your local teams as well.
Thank you to both Foxpro and the Centre County Baseball League for another amazing season this summer. Can't wait to see what happens next!
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody! 🙏🙏🙏
