The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: Fireworks/Cookout!
Well tonight was quite an adventure of me and my twin as we headed down to Lewistown and met up at our Aunt Mona's house for a nice cookout as well as getting to see the fireworks show in town.
As always, it is great to see and hangout with my family. Don't really get to come down and see them too often. As we arrived we helped carried some stuff for the cookout over from our Aunt Vic's house over across the street to Aunt Mona's place.
Oh boy was there plenty of stuff to eat! The main course was the mountain pies which were totally delicious. My cousin Greg was also making some hot dogs in the fire pit while my little cousin Max was running and tossing the baseball around.
Of course, I got to get some of my Aunt Mona's amazing brownies along with some carrots, BBQ Chips and so on and so forth 😋.
But as night time grew closer, my uncle Butch and my cousin Andy brought over some personal fireworks and began to light things up so to speak and there were a couple of good ones there.
Last but certainly not least, there was the fireworks show, tons of different fireworks rocketing up into the sky and unleashing loads of different colors as we all sit together by the porch before Chad and I decided that it was time to head on home for the night.
For years me and my family have been coming together and celebrated with this cookout and checking out the fireworks. Ever since I was a little kid, I always loved coming over and being with the family and doing stuff like this every year.
Not to be a Debbie Downer here but, I do admit that things like this have felt like it has become smaller in recent years. Maybe it is just me and or just over thinking things again, but I remember coming over as a kid and seeing tons of people around the neighbor seeing down on the grass on lawn chairs during my younger years and now it just feels like it is getting smaller and smaller.
Again, maybe I am just overthinking all of this. I understand people are doing different things and stuff, but I guess, I just miss seeing us all together.
However, trying to stay positive, it was amazing to come down and visit my Aunts, Uncle and my cousins for another amazing cookout. Love you guys!
Here is to us all having a great Summer!
Until Next Time!
God Bless and Be Safe Everybody!🙏🙏🙏
