Total Drama (Cartoon Series)

 This was one of the most recent cartoon series that I had really enjoyed and it is crazy to think that it is still going strong to this very day with the most recent seasons ending in 2024. But overall the Total Drama series has been a pretty fun show to watch.

The series originally began back in 2007 with the Total Drama Island series and it had never stop since. The show was basically a parody of the show Survivor. Each seasons involves of a group of teens who compete in an elimination style competition, in that the contestants compete in challenges both as teams and individually for rewards and immunity from elimination. Teams would also merge halfway between the season and it becomes an every man for themselves until their are two remaining competitors fight for the big cash prize.

S4: Total Drama Revenge of the Island

S5: Total Drama All-Stars/Pahkitew Island

S6: Total Drama Island (2023)

There were also a couple spin-off series as well like the Ridonculous Race and Total DramaRama.

What I love about the show was simply because of how they made fun of these "reality shows" and honestly, how ridiculous they are, but also how fame crazy people are. I mean, this show started back in 2007, before the internet really took over and I didn't notice it till recently. It really does amaze me with how obsessed we are with celebrities and just wanting to become famous in general.

Nonetheless, this show was quite entertaining and it still makes me laugh when I see clips from the show on the internet. In fact, I should try and rewatch the series again and see if some of the series still stands out to me.

 Well, with me trying to become more positive about myself, I have been looking back into the past and find ways to let go of some of the negative emotions attached to it. The Wacky Adventures Of Joshua and Chad: McVeytown Eagles Championship Parade!

Well tonight was a pretty special night down here in McVeytown as Chad and I along with many other people who live here in McVeytown all came together to celebrate a special accomplishment. And that was how all three of the McVeytown Eagles teams made it to the CKYFL championship games. Winning in both the Peewee and Midget divisions and placing second in the Mighty Mights. Stuff like this doesn't happen often in such a small town where I live so to see these kids have the time of their lives during the parade was certainly a sight to see. One of the things I love about covering sports is when I see kids learn, work hard and turn it into success. And these kids were learning a lot throughout the season and watching them grow and not only become better football players, but better people as well.  Which is why I have really enjoyed covering the CKYFL these last few years for Hometown Sports. Nick Dickson

 Recently, I had found out that a family friend of ours named Nick Dickson had a stroke and people have been doing what they can to support him and his family. Nick is a local mechanic who has been serving this community for many, many years and has always been a generous, hard worker and honorable person at the Dickson's Garage along with his father Ken. He and his father are also local racing legends around here in Mifflin County having raced for a couple generations now. Nick and his family have always been honest with me and my family and has helped take care of our vehicles for many years. They are amazing,  hardworking people who now need our help. And according to the go fund me page that was set up by Andrea Baker and Valeri Thornburgh. The doctors had told his family that it will take months at minimum for him to be able to recover and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
