One On One Interview With Mark Bittle Of The Bartender's Jukebox

 Hello everyone! One today's blog post, I got to sit down with Mark Bittle who is a host of the the Bartender's Jukebox podcast where we got to talk about Men's Mental Health. Get to know Bittle as he tries to suplex the stigma surrounding Men's Mental Health.

I would personally like to thank Mark for taking the time to answer my questions. Hope you all enjoy our interview.

JY: What inspired you to create this podcast?

MB: I had a radio show and the pandemic prevented me from going to the station. I figured why not give podcasting a shot.

JY: Why did you choose to talk about men's mental health?

MB: It's a very important topic, that rarely is talked about. I figured why not help break the stigma of Mens Mental Health.

JY: What has the response been since starting the podcast? 

MB: Amazing! I've had men from all walks of life reach out. And have had a major impact.

JY: What have you enjoyed the most about doing this podcast? 

MB: Honestly freedom, less restrictions as opposed to radio. Plus I feel it's more of an engaging audience.

JY: Where do you see the future of the show going? 

MB: Honestly not sure, I do this in my spare time. I currently farm, so I try and get on when I can. Would love to do this as a part time job.

JY: What do you say to any men out there struggling?

MB: Close your eyes, picture something you've never made it through. Then open your eyes and say it out loud...... moral of the story. You've made it through everything in life. Know you are not alone.

The Wacky Adventures Of Joshua and Chad: McVeytown Eagles Championship Parade!

Well tonight was a pretty special night down here in McVeytown as Chad and I along with many other people who live here in McVeytown all came together to celebrate a special accomplishment. And that was how all three of the McVeytown Eagles teams made it to the CKYFL championship games. Winning in both the Peewee and Midget divisions and placing second in the Mighty Mights. Stuff like this doesn't happen often in such a small town where I live so to see these kids have the time of their lives during the parade was certainly a sight to see. One of the things I love about covering sports is when I see kids learn, work hard and turn it into success. Nick Dickson

 Recently, I had found out that a family friend of ours named Nick Dickson had a stroke and people have been doing what they can to support him and his family. Nick is a local mechanic who has been serving this community for many, many years and has always been a generous, hard worker and honorable person at the Dickson's Garage along with his father Ken. He and his father are also local racing legends around here in Mifflin County having raced for a couple generations now. Nick and his family have always been honest with me and my family and has helped take care of our vehicles for many years. They are amazing,  hardworking people who now need our help. And according to the go fund me page that was set up by Andrea Baker and Valeri Thornburgh. The doctors had told his family that it will take months at minimum for him to be able to recover and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
