The Joshua Yoder Show! (I'm Starting A Podcast)

 Well, I think it is time to talk about something that I have been wanting to do for a while now. Which is to host my own podcast show. And after being scared to do it for so long, I decided to not let fear get to me and go through with it and create the Joshua Yoder show. I know real creative with the name lol.

Part of the reason as to why I am creating this show was because I wanted to help create a positive place where people can just talk about anything. But more importantly, grow together and also to provide a platform for other people to tell their stories but to also help promote things and show others that there are people out there trying to build up communities through their work whether it be businesses, sports or creative outlets. I want to be able to help out in anyway I can.

Things I would love to talk about on the show will involve several different things really, music, writing, sports, movies, comic books, etc. I am a fan of a lot of things but I am willing to talk just about anything there is to talk about in the world. I just want to be able to have a fun conversation, 

I just want to help promote a positive environment especially with all of the negativity being spread around the internet nowadays and I just simply want to show that there are people out there trying to help.

I would love to make this show a weekly thing, giving many people a chance to promote their stuff and or just sit and chill and talk about whatever is on our mind.

But I will also say that I would love to have peaceful and respectful conversations about things. Which I know isn't very popular thing to have on the internet. But I am choosing to go this route because I feel as though we can have our opinions but we can say them in a respectful matter. I do not care which side you are on, you can be just as disrespectful as the other. So please, be kind, loving and understanding. Not everything is as what it may seem to be.

As for my blog, I still plan on doing some writing, I will not be giving that up anytime soon lol. I really enjoy doing this and it has helped me in more ways than one. I will also be continuing to write other projects as well including books, and other kinds of writing.

I can not wait to get this show on the road and I really would love to hear from you guys about this idea and also if you have anything you would like to talk about, again whether it be for fun, businesses or anything else, please reach out. I would love to have a conversation with you and help out anyway I can.

 Well, with me trying to become more positive about myself, I have been looking back into the past and find ways to let go of some of the negative emotions attached to it. The Wacky Adventures Of Joshua and Chad: McVeytown Eagles Championship Parade!

Well tonight was a pretty special night down here in McVeytown as Chad and I along with many other people who live here in McVeytown all came together to celebrate a special accomplishment. And that was how all three of the McVeytown Eagles teams made it to the CKYFL championship games. Winning in both the Peewee and Midget divisions and placing second in the Mighty Mights. Stuff like this doesn't happen often in such a small town where I live so to see these kids have the time of their lives during the parade was certainly a sight to see. One of the things I love about covering sports is when I see kids learn, work hard and turn it into success. And these kids were learning a lot throughout the season and watching them grow and not only become better football players, but better people as well.  Which is why I have really enjoyed covering the CKYFL these last few years for Hometown Sports. Nick Dickson

 Recently, I had found out that a family friend of ours named Nick Dickson had a stroke and people have been doing what they can to support him and his family. Nick is a local mechanic who has been serving this community for many, many years and has always been a generous, hard worker and honorable person at the Dickson's Garage along with his father Ken. He and his father are also local racing legends around here in Mifflin County having raced for a couple generations now. Nick and his family have always been honest with me and my family and has helped take care of our vehicles for many years. They are amazing,  hardworking people who now need our help. And according to the go fund me page that was set up by Andrea Baker and Valeri Thornburgh. The doctors had told his family that it will take months at minimum for him to be able to recover and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
