This Culture War Has To Stop! A Christmas Prayer!

 There is something that I have been meaning to get off my chest. I just want every single one of you to know that I just want what is best.

I am so sick and tired of all of this fighting, this terrible war has got to come to a stop. Because the violence is out of control and people are more worried about being on top.

For it doesn't matter if your on the left or on the right. We shouldn't worry about being in a fight, but should all be working to get ever so much closer to God's Light.

All this pain and suffering has led us to nowhere. At this point I wonder to myself. Do people even care?

This Christmas, I pray that people could just lay down their arms and find their peace on this Earth. I mean isn't that what God has wanted us to do since the time of our birth?

I do not want no fancy cars, no life of luxury, just for all of us to have a peace of mind. Because life is to be one with God, but we humans for whatever reason make it so difficult to find.

So this year, let us all come together and do what Christmas is about, love, compassion and fellowship with our fellow man. And whatever happens, just trust that it is all a part of God's grand plan.

The universe is full of beauty and wonder, who knows what we have all in store. Can't we all just create love and like an eagle just watch our love soar? 

I just want to say that I love you all my heart, so let us end this pointless fight. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

Well tonight was a pretty special night down here in McVeytown as Chad and I along with many other people who live here in McVeytown all came together to celebrate a special accomplishment. And that was how all three of the McVeytown Eagles teams made it to the CKYFL championship games. Winning in both the Peewee and Midget divisions and placing second in the Mighty Mights. Stuff like this doesn't happen often in such a small town where I live so to see these kids have the time of their lives during the parade was certainly a sight to see. One of the things I love about covering sports is when I see kids learn, work hard and turn it into success. What's going on? Being honest with ourselves!

 I don't like to cause any problems with anybody but there have been a lot of things that I been wanting to get off my chest for a very long time now. And that is in my humble opinion people don't seem to want to be honest about really anything anymore. Now, I could be just a little paranoid, maybe my anxiety is getting the best of me or whatever. But as time has past I have been getting a weird feeling all over me. You see, I just feel as though people no one is really being honest with each other, themselves or to God anymore. I wish I could describe it better but it has been a concern of mine for quite a long time now and I feel like it is getting worse. People would always say things to me like, Josh it is just a different time. But honestly, I think that is just a lame excuse. Nick Dickson

 Recently, I had found out that a family friend of ours named Nick Dickson had a stroke and people have been doing what they can to support him and his family. Nick is a local mechanic who has been serving this community for many, many years and has always been a generous, hard worker and honorable person at the Dickson's Garage along with his father Ken. He and his father are also local racing legends around here in Mifflin County having raced for a couple generations now. Nick and his family have always been honest with me and my family and has helped take care of our vehicles for many years. They are amazing,  hardworking people who now need our help. And according to the go fund me page that was set up by Andrea Baker and Valeri Thornburgh. The doctors had told his family that it will take months at minimum for him to be able to recover and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
