The Wacky Adventures Of Josh And Chad: Flashbacks!

 Well, my twin and I just gotten back from another fun little trip, this time we decided to go to Huntingdon to check out this little shop called Flashbacks.

And I got to tell you, it certainly lived up to its name because Chad and I were having plenty of flashbacks as we searched through the whole shop.

The first thing we noticed as we walked in was the comic books 😁 and they had a pretty good collection of theme ranging from low prices to comic books that have high value.

Also there were plenty of old school toys from back in the day, even before Chad and I were even born. Heck! There were even VHS tapes showcasing some classic cartoons or movies that we both enjoyed some much.

We ended up getting ourselves a few comic books and hopefully again we will make another trip down there and more importantly, continue to keep ourselves busy and try be more open and adventurous and also to be inspired and use it to keep me writing as I hope and pray that someday I will find one of my books in stores like this some day.

Well tonight was a pretty special night down here in McVeytown as Chad and I along with many other people who live here in McVeytown all came together to celebrate a special accomplishment. And that was how all three of the McVeytown Eagles teams made it to the CKYFL championship games. Winning in both the Peewee and Midget divisions and placing second in the Mighty Mights. Stuff like this doesn't happen often in such a small town where I live so to see these kids have the time of their lives during the parade was certainly a sight to see. One of the things I love about covering sports is when I see kids learn, work hard and turn it into success. What's going on? Being honest with ourselves!

 I don't like to cause any problems with anybody but there have been a lot of things that I been wanting to get off my chest for a very long time now. And that is in my humble opinion people don't seem to want to be honest about really anything anymore. Now, I could be just a little paranoid, maybe my anxiety is getting the best of me or whatever. But as time has past I have been getting a weird feeling all over me. You see, I just feel as though people no one is really being honest with each other, themselves or to God anymore. I wish I could describe it better but it has been a concern of mine for quite a long time now and I feel like it is getting worse. People would always say things to me like, Josh it is just a different time. But honestly, I think that is just a lame excuse. Nick Dickson

 Recently, I had found out that a family friend of ours named Nick Dickson had a stroke and people have been doing what they can to support him and his family. Nick is a local mechanic who has been serving this community for many, many years and has always been a generous, hard worker and honorable person at the Dickson's Garage along with his father Ken. He and his father are also local racing legends around here in Mifflin County having raced for a couple generations now. Nick and his family have always been honest with me and my family and has helped take care of our vehicles for many years. They are amazing,  hardworking people who now need our help. And according to the go fund me page that was set up by Andrea Baker and Valeri Thornburgh. The doctors had told his family that it will take months at minimum for him to be able to recover and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
