Digimon

 In my humble opinion, one of my personal favorite animes ever. Digimon, Digital Monsters. Digimon is an anime created by Akiyoshi Hongo back in 1997. 

Digimon was created as a series of digital pets that were designed as a masculine counterpart to the female oriented Tomagotchi and since then created numerous anime series, video and card games. And I love it!

The first time I saw Digimon was the original anime series that aired on Fox Kids back in March of 1999. And dare I say, I loved it so much more than Pokemon. There, I said it. lol

I love the whole concept of Digimon. I mean the idea of traveling to another world where you can find and connect with a Digimon and basically have a friend for life and go and explore such a beautiful yet, dangerous world is quite exciting for me. Especially since I didn't really get to out much as a kid and I always dreamed of being in a world where I can feel free and Digimon certainly did that for me growing up.

Even when I did get to hangout with some friends, mainly because they lived near my Nan and Pap's house. We would get together and collect Digimon cards and I also had played some of the Digimon video games including having my own Digivice. 

And yes, I was many kids begging their parents to let me watch the Digimon movie when it came out in 2000 and to this very day. I still, listen to the amazing soundtrack from the film.

I think another major reason why I love Digimon so much too was that I didn't have a single favorite, I loved it all. It really struck a nerve to me.

I also most recently went and got the latest Digimon video game Digimon Survive, so I am finally going to get to play this game and hopefully we love it. And maybe write a little review for it.

Well tonight was a pretty special night down here in McVeytown as Chad and I along with many other people who live here in McVeytown all came together to celebrate a special accomplishment. And that was how all three of the McVeytown Eagles teams made it to the CKYFL championship games. Winning in both the Peewee and Midget divisions and placing second in the Mighty Mights. Stuff like this doesn't happen often in such a small town where I live so to see these kids have the time of their lives during the parade was certainly a sight to see. One of the things I love about covering sports is when I see kids learn, work hard and turn it into success. What's going on? Being honest with ourselves!

 I don't like to cause any problems with anybody but there have been a lot of things that I been wanting to get off my chest for a very long time now. And that is in my humble opinion people don't seem to want to be honest about really anything anymore. Now, I could be just a little paranoid, maybe my anxiety is getting the best of me or whatever. But as time has past I have been getting a weird feeling all over me. You see, I just feel as though people no one is really being honest with each other, themselves or to God anymore. I wish I could describe it better but it has been a concern of mine for quite a long time now and I feel like it is getting worse. People would always say things to me like, Josh it is just a different time. But honestly, I think that is just a lame excuse. Nick Dickson

 Recently, I had found out that a family friend of ours named Nick Dickson had a stroke and people have been doing what they can to support him and his family. Nick is a local mechanic who has been serving this community for many, many years and has always been a generous, hard worker and honorable person at the Dickson's Garage along with his father Ken. He and his father are also local racing legends around here in Mifflin County having raced for a couple generations now. Nick and his family have always been honest with me and my family and has helped take care of our vehicles for many years. They are amazing,  hardworking people who now need our help. And according to the go fund me page that was set up by Andrea Baker and Valeri Thornburgh. The doctors had told his family that it will take months at minimum for him to be able to recover and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
