The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald Movie Series

I don't know if there are many people out there who have seen these movies, but I remember going into a McDonald's with my parents and my brothers and got ourselves Happy Meals. But then we noticed that there was a movie called the Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald Scared Silly.

To the dismay of parents, me and my twin brother Chad would bug the crap out of them to buy this movie. Sorry mom and dad lol. But they did buy the movie and Chad and I checked it out and enjoyed it very much.

Little did we know that this was just the first of six movies that ran from 1998 to 2003 featuring all of the beloved McDonald's characters as they go through different adventures.

As mentioned earlier, Scared Silly was the first movie to come out. Second was The Legend of Grimace Island, The Visitors from Outer Space, Birthday World, Have Time, Will Travel and finally, The Monster O' McDonaldland Loch. And each time a new one came out, we again would bug the crap out of our parents to buy one with our meals. Again, sorry mom and dad lol.

Honestly, I miss seeing movies like these. It brings me back to a time when I was younger and we were being taught good things by wholesome characters which sadly you don't really see nowadays.

Which in a way bothers me because I think it is important to have something wholesome. But for some strange reason, people seem to look down on being nice and caring. Maybe I am just naive to the world.

I miss these movies a lot too because a little while back, my local McDonald's had went out of business. I honestly haven't been to a McDonald's in a long time. A lot of great memories in that place, it is a shame that things turned out the way it did.

But back to the movies, an interesting fact that I learned about the series was the composers for the movies were Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh who are a part of the band called Devo. Another fun fact, these two also helped make music for Rugrats. Which is ironic because the same company who made Rugrats, Klashy Csupo helped with production.

The format of each movie came was similar to The New Three Stooges, The Super Mario Bros. Super Show and Back to the Future the Animated Series.

What a lot people may not know is that they were all on VHS. Kind of wish these movies found their way on DVD. But then again, I do see them on Youtube, so I can't complain too much.

But atlas, these movies brought me back to a simpler time and things just seem to make sense.

Until next time!

God Bless and Be Safe!🙏🙏🙏
