The Wacky Adventures of Josh and Chad: Agape Festival
Well everybody! Myself and my twin brother Chad had just gotten back from another interesting event in the form of the Agape Festival. For those who didn't see my previous post about it, here is a quick reminder. The Agape Festival is a Christian music festival that has come and replaced the recently canceled Creation Festival.
When me and Chad first heard about it a while back, we decided to see what it is all about. Now in fairness to the event, I did not expect it to be as big as Creation was right away. This is an upstart festival that is trying to build back up.
The festival was led by the Jesus Ministries who are looking to bring people closer to Christ and help inspire many others who are struggling with whatever ails them.
One of the first things me and Chad did was walk through the woods and I got to show him around some of things I saw when Creation was still around. We were giving a life by some volunteers to the top of the hill where we got to see the lookout post and what view it was.
There were several new artists who are looking to spread their love of God through their music which was one of the reasons Chad and I decided to go see. One of those new artists was a friend of ours named Hayden Snook who performed with his band including his famous song Temples Fall.
I must say I really enjoyed hearing Hayden and his band play, it really was amazing! There was another amazing performer at the event as well that we really loved was a man named Matt Sassano. He certainly "rocked" the house! 😏 See what did there? I know bad puns lol.
The only bad part of the day was it was HOT!!!!! Thankfully there was plenty of places to go and cool off as they had a few areas what they call Mist areas and get sprayed by a very refreshing mist.
Another place you can go to is in the center of the farm where we got some Shaved Ice, which was awesome by the way. Also there was some funnel cake, grilled cheese sandwiches, and several other foods.
Now remember there is only two more days left of the Agape Festival with more bands performing on Saturday and everything will finish up on Sunday with a Sunday service at 10 a.m. inside the Longbarn.
Can again, it is a smaller festival than it has been in years past. But, only takes a seed right? Hopefully this is the start of something beautiful.
If you want your tickets you can get them online https://www.agapefarm.com/agapefest and present them to the people at the gate.
Me and Chad had an amazing time and we both thank everybody at the festival for their kindness and hospitality.
Check out the Agape Festival!
Until next time! God Bless and Be Safe! 🙏🙏🙏
