Mario (Gaming Icon)

  One of the most iconic video game characters if not the greatest video game character of all time, is the little Italian plumber named Mario.

What of the things that many of the younger fans may or may not know is that Mario first appeared as Jumpman in the Donkey Kong arcade game back in the early 80s and has never stopped.

Then in 1985 Mario made his video game debut with Super Mario Bros. for the original NES gaming system. Basically the storyline was Mario was sent to the Mushroom Kingdom to save Princess Peach from the evil Bowser.

 As times went along, we all got to be introduced to several other amazing characters throughout the series' amazing run such as Mario’s brother Luigi, Wario, Yoshi and many others.

What I love about playing Mario games is simply the fact that they are fun, wholesome games that really anyone can play and enjoy.

What’s even crazier about Mario is that Nintendo created so many amazingly fun franchises through this one character. Games like, Mario Party, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart and of course Super Smash Brothers. It feels like no matter what kind of game it is, you put that little plumber in the game and it was going to be a hit for Nintendo.

Honestly, I’m extremely happy to see Mario still going strong after all these years. Because to me, It is nice to see games that everyone can enjoy and it doesn’t have to be overly sexual and or violent.

I hope we can all continue to enjoy saving the Mushroom Kingdom from the evil clutches of Bowser for many years to come.

 I can't believe it has been 15 years since me and Chad have graduated from Lewistown Area High School back in 2009. What's going on? Being honest with ourselves!

 I don't like to cause any problems with anybody but there have been a lot of things that I been wanting to get off my chest for a very long time now. And that is in my humble opinion people don't seem to want to be honest about really anything anymore. Now, I could be just a little paranoid, maybe my anxiety is getting the best of me or whatever. But as time has past I have been getting a weird feeling all over me. You see, I just feel as though people no one is really being honest with each other, themselves or to God anymore. Is It Worth It To Keep Fighting?

 You know the thing I hate the most about dealing with depression and just mental health in general is the simple fact that I know that there are so many people in this world you is dealing with struggles in their lives. And I keep telling myself to stay humble and be grateful for everything I have in this world and that things can always be worse, but, I ultimately just end up hating myself. I wish I was stronger, I really do because I feel embarrassed about feeling this way. I hate it! I really, really hate dealing with this crap in my head!
