Ian Fleming (James Bond Tribute)

I have been on a huge James Bond kick these last few days and I have been enjoying every single second of it. I got to give Ian Fleming a lot of credit, he surely knows how to make a great story. I ain't just talking about the movies either, I highly recommend checking out the books as well.

One of the interesting facts about Ian Fleming was in real life, he worked with the British Naval Intelligence Division during WWII. Which makes sense that he would write about a spy saving the world.

Another fun fact about Fleming was when he wrote his first James Bond story, Casino Royale back in 1952. Fleming was 44 years at the time. And the story itself was a huge hit and Fleming never looked back.

Boy do I enjoy watching James Bond, to be honest the big reason is because I wish I could be more like him. I mean who wouldn't want to be a spy who saves the world from evil and be with beautiful women aka the Bond Girls. Of course, in the real world, I am no where near able to have the physical abilities as what Bond has to do and I have zero confidence when it comes to women lol. But hey, a kid can dream can he lol.

There was a grand total of 12 books on the adventures of James Bond from 1952 to 1965 with the last book that was written by Fleming was The Man With The Golden Gun which came out after Fleming's passing (RIP).

What I love about the character himself, James Bond is so cool. The gadgets, the guns, the puns lol. But what I had found most interesting about the Bond character was to most people, Bond was just some playboy who took too much joy with the killing of the bad guys and sleeping with women. But in reality, I felt as though this was just a mask to hide the fact that Bond was a broken man.

You see, Bond once fell in love and married a woman named Teresa "Tracy" di Vicenzo. Who was tragically killed during the Wedding Day by his arch nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Reading that story, it kind of made me feel a little sympathetic towards 007. I guess after losing someone so close to you, can you really blame him for being the way he is.

The look of James Bond was inspired by actor Hoagy Carmichael who was a major star from 1930s.

There have been seven different actors who had played the legendary 007. Which one do you is your favorite?

Sean Connery

David Niven

George Lazenby

Roger Moore

Timothy Dalton

Pierce Brosnan

Daniel Craig

There are also several video games that featured James Bond with such a great games like Everything or Nothing as well as Goldeneye.

Ian Fleming is just another big influence as to why I enjoy writing and storytelling. And his stories in my humble opinion, never get old. The action, the suspense, the romance! It truly is incredible.

God Bless you Mr. Fleming. And always remember, its Bond, James Bond lol.

God Bless and Be Safe everyone 🙏🙏🙏
